Slipknot's New release - We Are Not Your Kind

Today is the release of Slipknot's Latest in their line of amazing music. I have only listened to 3 of the songs from this album, Birth of the Cruel, Solway Firth and Unsainted.

I wasn't very impressed with Birth of the Cruel. Sure it began like classic Slipknot but then it kind of just stayed that way. The song seemed to be a boredom piece they just threw together so they can have something for their upcoming release of this album, just like the video as it was blah and humdrum.

Solway Firth was released for the Prime original series The Boys. The beginning was a get ready to brace yourself moment before the hard hitting slap in your face moment of the intense guitars and drums and the screams from Corey Taylor making you want to jump and thrash out of delight for the satisfying happiness in your ears and anger from not being able to headbang hard enough.

Lastly, Unsainted, I can tell this song is going to be a hit and not just from the choir at the beginning. I can tell because the chorus itself is catchy and makes you want to sing along. It has the feel of an anthem that Slipknot is known for. A soon as I heard that chorus I could picture thousands of fans bringing down the ceiling of a stadium.

I think Slipknot has out done themselves with this release for the 3 tunes I listened to, with the exception of one. Are well done and I hope in the future, I will be listening to the whole album.
